Drive To The Finals

Pick one player per game day, collect their box-score STATs, and manage your roster across the playoffs. The twist is simple: once you use a player, you usually cannot use them again.

Core Rules

⚡ Scoring

Each day, pick one player who is playing that day.
You earn one STAT for each point, rebound, assist, steal, and block your player records.
Whoever has the most total STATs at the end of the NBA Finals wins.

📊 Example: 30 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, and 3 blocks = 50 STATs

🎯 Picking Players

You can make picks in advance for multiple days.
Each player can only be used once, so strategy matters—save your stars for critical moments.
Once a player's game starts, that pick is locked and cannot be changed.
You can change your pick until that specific player's game begins.

⏰ Locks & Deadlines

Once a game begins, players from that game are no longer available to pick.
You have until the final game of the day starts to make a pick for that day.
Game times are shown on the My Picks page above each matchup.
Set reminders so you don't miss a deadline!

0️⃣ Zero-STAT Picks

If your player finishes with 0 STATs, it counts as a zero pick.
A zero-STAT player can be selected again in later rounds.
There is no STAT multiplier by round—all picks are valued equally.

📈 Stats & Updates

Stats come from official NBA box-score data.
Stats can change if official NBA stat corrections are made.
Live stats update regularly during games. Standings finalize after games end.

🏆 Prizes & League Donations

Premium leagues may require a donation to be eligible for prizes.
If there is a tie, the prize is split evenly among tied participants.
This is a friendly pool between friends. Drive To The Finals takes no commission.

⚙️ Important: League Settings Vary by Pool

Not all leagues are created equal. Each pool can be configured differently by its league admin. Before you join or play, check your league's settings in the League Settings page to understand:

Number of Entries: Some leagues allow one entry per player; premium leagues may allow multiple entries.
Number of Strikes: Free leagues use 1 strike to eliminate. Premium leagues can set 1–10 strikes per manager.
Double-Pick Weeks: Some leagues disable this entirely; others allow it starting at a specific week.
Buy-Back Options: Some leagues let you "buy back in" after elimination; premium leagues can set a cutoff week.
Entry Donations: The league's buy-in amount is set by the admin and shown in the league details.

Always check your league's League Settings before you play to see the exact rules, strike count, and any special options your pool has enabled.
